Cruceros

Morales describes her work:“Cruceros (Crosses) is a project which has three parts: a video of the territory, an ethnographic documentation, classified and exhibited which teaches about the Cruceros which have been preserved in the community, and an action in situ at the gallery…The use of my body as the main activator of the cosmos, will activate through the rhythm of the wind and ancestral dance, a faint sound which carries the weight of the time of colonization, of syncretism, of the pace of the Misak community and its genealogic memory, a panoramic picturescape of the village.
